The rules of engagement are simple. Purchase a discounted bag of beads/components sight unseen (surprise!) and accept the challenge to:
   1. Use everything in the bag,
   2. Add whatever you want,
   3. Make whatever you want.

Not knowing what's in the bag beforehand eliminates our prejudging of the beads/colors/etc. and enables us to fully accept the challenge of creating something outside of our "norm." It stretches our creative muscles.

We have been asked, "Is there a prize?" and the answer is yes and no. First of all, none of us here at Planet Bead wants to judge the creative process! How is that even possible? The idea is to watch the creative process at work and in the end appreciate our differences and what comes from a group of people beginning with the exact same base. And THAT is our very valuable prize!

So, here are the wonderful and diverse results of the Surprise Bead Challenge! Thanks to all who have participated! YOU ROCK!!!

There is still time to bring your "Spring Celebration" project in for photography. Final deadline is May 24th to be included in the June Bead Challenge results!
